Konnitiwa! Hello! Being a fan of Iggy Onno’s blog ever since I stumbled across it a month or so ago. I’ve often wondered how to write a blog, or ‘blob’ as darling Pappy likes to call them.

After that, I’ve been regularly checking back on the ever coherent, ever entertaining posts made by Ignatius and his other groovy guest writers. Having lived in England for over 12 years now, moving from Far East Asia, I’m glad to post an English perspective of Second Life, as Iggy recommended. Not that I guarantee it to be any different from any of you wondrous American, Canadian, and, well.. EARTHian readers’ experiences.

Iggy asked me to talk about Second Life here in England… All I can say is that I haven’t actually asked, or talked to anybody in my First Life about my Second! HOWEVER, I have met a handful of other people in Second Life that are from England, and they seem to be just the same as every other species of Second Lifer; Varied. A handful of coherent, intelligent people, and the usual horde of not-quite so coherent boys and girls.

As for the rest of my blog, I can’t guarantee to be as roll-on-floor hilarious as Ignatius… but we’ll see!  Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition! -If you don’t get that, it’s a semi famous line from the great Monty Python!  From the same store where Iggy picked up his gorilla suit, I bought myself a Wynx Whiplash tiny rabbit avatar, and a red inquisitor robe that fits the tiny animal’s body, and plays irritating sound-clips from the show to boot!  I’d include a photo, but for now you’ll just have to imagine it!

In fact, everything you least expect seems to appear in SL!  Just like the time when… Actually…I’ll save something (as Pappy would say) “inter-mer-esting” for my next guest appearance.

If I’m in-world, I’ll gladly tag along anywhere, providing the slowness of Second Life lag doesn’t prevent me! I’m always looking out for new experiences!

Reader Comments:

A very nice article indeed Ms. Runo.  Not the usual spam, spam, spam!  But I get your general drift about the hit-and-miss peeps in SL. A nod’s as good as a wink to a blind bat, eh?.

Sometimes I like to make my avi be a lumberjack.

I sleep all night and I work all day.
I cut down trees, I skip and jump,
I like to press wild flowers.
I put on women’s clothing,
And hang around in bars.

Surprisingly, there is a lot of that going on in SL!

And now for something completely different.
